Kayla rocks.
I was going through pictures trying to find some that would give an overview of the time since I last posted, and really all the good ones are of Kayla. At some times she can be really one of the most annoying children on the planet. However, the same qualities that make her that annoying are what make her a child that totally rocks. Here are some examples.
Anyone is fair game to get pulled into doing what Kayla says. For example, "read me this story." Annoying - some times people are trying to enjoy a holiday family gathering with other adults and don't want to read a story. Rocks - she manages to forge a special relationship with anyone she meets. And, there are cute pictures.
She loves to play in the snow. Annoying - I don't like to play in the snow. And there is bundling involved. And water dripping on my carpet later. And fixing of hot chocolate. Rocks - Snow angels!
She's messy. And I mean get it out, smear it all over, dump it on the floor/walls/dog for no reason messy. Annoying - I don't like cleaning. Rocks - As long as the mess stays off my (rented) walls and floors, I heart having a creative child!
She is always getting into my clothes. Annoying - she doesn't put anything back where she found it. Rocks - she's a really cute Bears fan.
She loves music. Annoying - she steals Fred all the time.
Rocks - I get to make things like this.

Kayla rocks because: Her giggles while making snow angels makes ME giggle, her painted body makes me giggle even more, i love that she talks people into doing what she wants and her moms cute creative things are hilarious...
