Monica's Christmas Thing
1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?? Pumpkin Spice Latte. Or Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino. Or, Pumpkin Spice Eggnog. For the record, I don't actually like pumpkin pie. Weird, huh?
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Depends on if there happens to be a wrapping paper shortage at the North Pole that year.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Colored lights inside, white ones outside.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? I have vaulted ceilings and short ladders, do the math.
5. When do you put your decorations up? The weekend closest to my birthday.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Lasanga, and in my family that IS a holiday dish, so back off.
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: Getting stuck at the laundromat during the blizzard of '82ish. Closely followed by the infamous Christmas goose fiasco.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? What, what is it? Heart disease? Diabetes? The guy needs to cut down on the milk and cookies.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Several, usually. We go to my grandmothers, and Santa comes there.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Um, what? First I put the lights on, then the ornaments?
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? If it's gonna be cold, it better snow. If it's gonna snow, it should be a blizzard. If I have to go out and drive in it, it should melt first.
12. Can you ice skate? Can I? You betcha. But my knees say not anymore.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? My dad took me and the rest of the family to Walt Disney World.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Most important? That everything goes smoothly and everyone stays happy.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Cookies.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? I dont know. Shopping the day after Thanksgiving? (see below)
17. What tops your tree? Some goofy star shaped Santa thing.
18. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving? Shopping for me is more like a full out tatical engagement, complete with strategic planning meetings, budget approvals, and recon missions. Lucky for me I like that kind of thing. I like getting stuff too though.
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Carol of the Bells for a traditional sort, Christmas in Hollis for not so traditional.
20. Candy Canes! yuck or yummy? Yuck. Unless its to stir my hot chocolate with.
21. Fave Christmas Movie?
Favorite funny: Christmas Vacation
Favorite not so funny: Nightmare before Christmas Favorite animated: Grinch Favorite action: Die Hard (it happens at Christmas, back off I said!)
Favorite overall: A Christmas Story
See what I did there, getting 2 funny ones and two animated ones in the list? I rock!

Does Kerri not like Nightmare?? HOw did I not know this? :(
I just never really got into it. I really don't like nor dislike it... It's just 'there' I guess?
But I can insert Emily in when Nightmare must be watched, she's a Nightmare freak.
