More things I have learned...

1. Apparently the only person that knows I lived in Pueblo West (P-Dub, get it?) is Kerri. :)

2. MSN as a service provider is not that bad, I like the calendar. But, I bet iCal2 is a better one, now can I have my hoodie back? (If you didn't get that, go here and watch the funny commercials.)

3. Number of Mr. Clean Magic Erasers needed to clean stuff off the walls in a small ranch style home that my kids were in for a year and a half: 7 (Seriously, I should be the PR for these things, I love them. Go get some, there's a coupon if you click.)

4. Number of hours for same: 14 (so far)

5. The best time to sign up kids for swim lessons at the newest coolest pool in Colorado Springs is NOT 2 weeks before the lessons start. When registration opens might be a better idea.

6. There's MOMS Club here. If you stay at home, and you don't know MOMS Club, you should.

7. Having your kids' bedrooms on a completely different level of the house than your own completely rocks.

8. Having different levels at all completely rocks. I missed stairs.

9. In a related but contradictory comment, I think someone should invent a laundry system. Toss your clothes in a chute in the bathroom, they fall directly into the washer, which then automatically starts when it's full. Then some super vacuum tube between the washer and dryer can suck them into the dryer, dry them, and suck them back up to the bathroom, where you can then fold them.

10. Sunporches rock too. Everyone should have one.

11. I never want to live in a city smaller than this one again. Ever. Restaurants deliver. There is no time that I ever have to say the phrase "drive into town". I could live quite comfortably here for years and years and never go farther than 5 miles from the house. More people = more diversity... for instance, there are actually other SAHM's here. Other autistic kids. More than one movie theater, dog groomer, scrapbook store, and tanning salon. You know, simple stuff. And MOMS Club. :)

12. Minor League baseball - totally fun. And I mean that... no screaming crazy fans, no riots over losing, no deragatory comments about players/umpires wives/mothers, just total fun. Our team: Sky Sox.

13. It's amazing how you don't know what you are missing sometimes. How did I live without Jason's Deli? Baskin Robbins? In the not quite 2 weeks that I have been here, I've had 2 meals at Jason's (well FROM Jason's, did I mention restaurants deliver here?) and a quart of Pralines 'N' Cream.

14. It's likely that living in a real city could make me fat. :)

15. Where my smile lives. You know at the end of City Slickers, when Billy Crystal finds his smile? Somehow mine has been here in the Springs while I have been in Pueblo West, and now we are reunited.

Pictures coming next, after I clean things, and finish unpacking things, and all. :)

8. Having stairs in your house is cool, but living on a third floor apartment is a pain the butt.

9. I'm working on it. ;)

12.Minor League baseball games are a lot more fun to go to than Major League ones. We have the Lake Elsinore Storm here....always a lot of fun. :)
